Chronic fatigue syndrome is a disease that causes painful weakness, exhaustion and brain fog that is aggravated by mental and physical activity which is not relieved by rest.
Chronic fatigue syndrome usually occurs after a viral infection such as glandular fever.
Many people misunderstand chronic fatigue syndrome thinking that you’re just tried.
You are not tired.
You are totally wiped and disabled. Everything in your body hurts 24 hours a day. You are in chronic pain and you feel like you’ve been in a traffic accident.
You become so weak that simply lifting your arm off the mattress is an exercise requiring every scrap of your willpower. You literally become a prisoner in your own body.
You can’t even stand up without falling over. The weakness is so profound that it becomes a huge effort to think, walk, talk, sit, eat and even breathe. This weakness disturbs your sleep often creating chronic insomnia.
The pain and aches you experience in your nerves, joints, muscles and skin feels like you’ve been beaten with a baseball bat.
That is what chronic fatigue syndrome really feels like.
What are the symptoms of Chronic fatigue syndrome?
Main chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms include:
- Extreme weakness and body pain. Extreme mind numbing weakness, chronic body pain and intense exhaustion are the main symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome. The weakness is severely aggravated by movement and mental exertion.
- Mind numbing brain fog. Brain fog is another major symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome. The best way to describe this symptom is that feels like your brain is getting crushed in a vice. The physical suffering of brain fog is excruciatingly painful.
- Dizziness. Accompanying this brain fog is also dizziness, fainting and balance problems upon standing. Your body can also experience low blood sugar and low blood pressure. There is a lack of blood supply to your brain.
- Memory loss and concentration problems. Memory and concentration problems are another chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms. It can get so bad you can forget the names of close friends and cannot think clearly enough to do even the most simple of tasks.
- Anxiety, depression and mood swings. Chronic fatigue syndrome can cause depression, mood swings, anxiety and panic attacks. These changes in mood are reactive to the disease. They are not the cause of the disease. The cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is physical not mental. It’s a real disease with a physiological base and cause.
Other chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms include:
- Gas, indigestion, constipation, diarrhoea and loss of appetite
- Cold and heat intolerance
- Alcohol intolerance
- Sensitivities to noise, light, odours and chemicals
- Low-grade fever or low body temperature
- Chills and night sweats
- Muscle twitching and convulsions
- Swollen lymph glands
- Poor sex drive
- Thirst and dryness
How is CFS diagnosed?
It is difficult to diagnose chronic fatigue syndromebecause it has the same symptoms as many other diseases. While examining you your doctor must first rule out other diseases that look similar to CFS such as mononucleosis, lyme disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, primary sleep disorders, severe obesity and major depressive disorders.
When other diseases are ruled out and if your illness meets the following two criteria your doctor can diagnose you with chronic fatigue syndrome.
Diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome occurs if these two criteria are met:
- Unexplained, persistent fatigue of new onset that is not substantially relieved by rest.
- Four or more of the following symptoms are present for six months or more:
- Impaired memory or concentration
- Post exertional malaise (extreme, prolonged exhaustion and sickness following physical or mental activity)
- Unrefreshing sleep
- Muscle pain
- Multi-joint pain without swelling or redness
- Headaches of a new type or severity
- Sore throat that’s frequent or recurring
- Tender lymph nodes
Risk factors in chronic fatigue syndrome
Women are diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome two to four times as often as men.
The condition is most common in people in their 40s and 50s but it can affect people of all ages.
“Complications in chronic fatigue syndrome”
Possible complications of chronic fatigue syndrome include:
- Depression as a reaction to symptoms
- Side effects and adverse reactions associated with lack of activity
- Social isolation
- Lifestyle restrictions
- Loss of income due to inability to work

Eating healthy food is vitally important in healing chronic fatigue syndrome.
As a natural practitioner I have witnessed the healing power of foods in numerous CFS patients as well as on myself. Healthy food has an extraordinary power to reverse disease and heal your body.
In this newsletter I am going to share with you the most important things you can do to improve your eating habits which will help you defeat chronic fatigue syndrome.
Nutritional saturation and digestion
Supplements never can replace food. If you want to heal your body you need to nutritionally saturate your body.
What I mean by this is that you must give your body the absolute best nutrition you can afford. You need quality foods that are natural, unrefined, organic and without chemicals.
As well as saturating your body with the highest quality nutrition you also must be able to digest your food. It is pointless to eat highly nutritious food if you cannot digest it. In fact if you don’t digest your food you will create toxins in your digestive tract which will worsen chronic fatigue syndrome.
I remember years ago when I was very sick with chronic fatigue syndrome that I was eating a lot of brown rice. Now brown rice is highly nutritious but it is very hard to digest. This food was not healing me. In fact it was making me much worse because I could not digest it.
You see many people with chronic fatigue syndrome have chronic digestion problems. So it is vitally important to only use the highest quality food that you can digest.
And lastly you should only eat foods that reduce the excess air element. According to Ayurvedic medicine an excess air element in your colon and nervous system is the root cause of chronic fatigue syndrome and to counter that you need to eat foods that reduce the air element. For example you want to avoid foods that are cold, light, dry, raw and gassy because these foods increase the air element.
Instead eat more foods that are freshly cooked, warm, moist and grounding. These foods reduce the air element and help heal chronic fatigue syndrome.
I talk in detail about these foods in my CFS Incurables Program.
Avoid eating junk food
As well as knowing what you should eat you must also know what to avoid. You must avoid at all costs junk food. Junk food does incredible harm to your body and has no nutritional value.
Junk foods are saturated in fat, white sugar, white flour, preservatives, salt and colorings.
Junk foods cause obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, tooth decay, and liver failure. Some studies have even shown that junk food can harm your memory and even lead to mild brain damage.
Junk foods are deadly for chronic fatigue syndrome patients and if you eat junk food you absolutely must give it up if you want to self heal. You don’t even have a choice here. Throw junk food out of your pantry.
Junk food is poison avoid it like the plague.
Avoid reheating your food
Avoid eating reheated foods.
Reheating food reduces essential nutrients. All the prana and life force is gone from reheated foods. Reheated food will not energize your body or mind. In fact it will deaden your senses.
Instead get into the habit of eating only freshly cooked foods. This will make a dramatic difference to your chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms over time. You will notice a radical difference in your energy and mental happiness by eating freshly cooked foods.
Just do a test. Eat reheated food for a week and then eat freshly cooked food a week. See the difference within your health through your own personal experience.
Microwave cooking is killing people
Avoid using a microwave.
Microwave cooking is not natural and is far more dangerous to your health than you can imagine.
It is so dangerous that in 1976 Russia banned microwave ovens. They did this because Russian researchers found microwaving foods destroy nutritive value, creates free radicals, cell damage, hormonal imbalance, cancer and malfunctions to occur in the lymphatic system.
Microwave cooking causes severe changes in human blood and the immune system.
In Oklahoma (1991) there was a lawsuit where a hospital microwaved blood in order to warm it for a transfusion. The patient, Norma Levitt died from this microwaved blood transfusion.
This shocking tragedy makes it very real that there’s much more to “heating” with microwaves than we’ve been led to believe.
It’s very obvious that microwave “heating” does something to the substances it heats. If you use a microwave then you also ingesting these dangerous “unknowns”.
Another study found significant and disturbing changes in the blood of individuals consuming microwaved milk and vegetables.
If you still doubt how unhealthy microwave cooking is then please do this simple experiment.
Plant some seeds in two pots.
Water one pot with water that has been microwaved.
Water the other pot with regular tap water.
Here is the scary part. The seeds that received microwaved water will not sprout.
Just think about that…
If microwaved water can stop plants from growing then think what microwaved food is doing for your health.
So please avoid microwaving your food.
Summary…
- Eat food organic, natural foods
- Eat foods that reduces the air element
- Eat food that you can easily digest
- Eat freshly cooked foods
- Avoid junk food
- Avoid reheating your food
- Avoid microwaving your food

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a simple home remedy that…
- Cost you nothing
- That was a thousand times more effective at eliminating toxins then any expensive commercial supplement
- That tastes good
- That is simple to make
- That is highly effective at reducing symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome
Well what if I told you there was such an amazing remedy. And I am going to share this simple home remedy with you today for free…
I remember reading about an old saint that used to help heal many people from many types of diseases using this highly effective home remedy.
This extraordinary remedy is used in many traditional forms of medicine. In fact in Tibetan medicine when a person falls sick this home remedy is used as the first line of defence.
The interesting fact about this remedy is that it’s so simple. It is so unbelievably simple that you mistake it as not even being a medicine.
But that is a huge mistake.
Ok so what is this remedy you ask? Drum roll please…
…The answer is hot boiled water
Ok so let’s explain more about how boiled water acts as a highly effective home remedy:
- Hot boiled water balances all types of constitutions.
- Hot boiled water is a digestive. When you actually boil the water you are in fact cooking it and making it easier to digest which in turn gets instantly absorbed.
- Hot boiled water dispels gas. Many people with chronic fatigue syndrome have gas in their stomach.
- Hot boiled water helps open and unblock the channels in your body. These channels get blocked in chronic fatigue syndrome patients.
- Hot boiled water increases your digestive strength. People with CFS have chronically low digestive fire and suffer indigestion.
- Hot boiled water helps remove toxins from your digestive tract. It is like cleaning a dish, when you try to clean dishes with cold water it is hard to remove the oil and grease but when you try to clean dishes with hot boiled water the grease and grime come right off. (I know that sounds like a dishwashing commercial but it is true).
- Hot boiled water is comforting, soothing and helps reduce body pain.
- Hot boiled water helps remove coldness and poor circulation from your body and brain (People with CFS often feel cold, suffer poor circulation and have poor blood supply to their brain causing brain fog).
Even when you drink water that has cooled after boiling it helps heal all imbalances and is wholesome. But boiled water should not be kept overnight and drunk because it becomes stale and impure.
The absolute best form of water to drink is spring water that has been boiled. The next best is purified water that has been boiled. And lastly just tap water that has been boiled. Remember to drink all boiled water either hot or at room temperature within 24 hours of boiling.
Now why don’t doctors, healers and the scientific world recognise the simple power if this incredible home remedy. Well for one simple reason…
…There is no money to be made from it.
How are they going to charge you for boiled hot water? Plus the actual simplicity of the remedy is almost too simple for people to take seriously.
Imagine going to a doctor for say a cold and having him say to you “Just drink boiled hot water that’s $50, next patient” people would think he is insane.
But please I beg you do not underestimate the supreme value, power and potency of this simple, highly effective home remedy. It has huge healing effects. Just try it that’s all I ask. Drink only hot boiled water for one week and see what happens.
I am a very big believer in the philosophy of “Personal experience is the highest validation of truth”. I like to test concepts first hand before I say it works or not.
“I can assure you if you drink hot boiled water for one week it will definitely help improve your health and reduce your CFS symptoms.”
But it must be remembered that this simple remedy will not fully heal CFS. It is just one of the many health weapons you must use to defeat CFS. To fully heal chronic fatigue syndrome you need to combine many different healing elements like diet, daily routine, herbs, home remedies, sleep, healing meditation and natural treatments.
This knowledge is just a tiny taste of the healing knowledge that I unleash in my chronic fatigue syndrome home healing course called the CFS Incurables Program.

Brain fog is one of the most painful symptoms in chronic fatigue syndromes…
I remember when I first got sick with chronic fatigue syndrome I felt this unimaginable wave of pressure fill my entire head. It was so strong that it pushed me to the ground. I literally could not move. The brain fog was so overpowering that I passed out.
When I woke up I remember lying on the grass lawn looking up at the trees thinking…
“…What the hell is wrong with my body?”
It felt like someone had hit me in the head with a baseball bat but much worse because this feeling was so deep and internal.
It felt like there was no blood in my head. It felt like a huge clamp was pushing my brains into my head. I felt extremely faint and dizzy.
Brain fog really causes terrible suffering for CFS patients. Brain fog totally wreaks your memory and ability to concentrate.
If you suffer from CFS you will know exactly what I mean.
The pain of brain fog is tremendous especially after exercise or mental exertion.
“Now why do CFS patients get brain fog…?”
Brain fog is caused by 3 things. ..
Number 1. Cause of brain fog…Excess air element
The root cause of brain fog is from the excess air element in your digestion and nervous system.
According to Ayurvedic medicine your body is composed of 5 elements…
1. Air
2. Space
3. Fire
4. Water
5. Earth
Due to certain causative factors like poor diet, excessive work etc these 5 elements get imbalanced.
Now in CFS the air element increases in your body.
This can be felt on a gross level from gas in your stomach and intestines. Or on a subtle level where the subtle air element spreads from your digestion into your nervous system.
This excess air element spreads through your spine, brain and nervous system blocking blood circulation to your brain. You literally have a lack of blood flow to your head, which creates lightheadedness, dizziness, poor memory and brain fog.
Now to remove brain fog you must reduce the excess air element in your body. By doing so you remove the root cause of CFS.
CFS patients that are bloated with gas often feel great relief in CFS symptoms and brain fog when that gas gets released. This release of gas on a gross level is removing the excess air element.
So your aim is to reduce the excess air element within your body. If you can do this effectively you can remove the root cause of CFS and brain fog.
This is done using a multi-level approach.
You must use a specific diet, daily routine, home remedies, herbs, yoga, sleep, rest, massage and many other natural treatments. These must be used in a special way in order to reduce the excess air element.
I describe in detail exactly how to reduce the excess air element in my CFS Incurables Program.
Number 2. Cause of brain fog…Low blood pressure
Now indirectly the second cause of brain fog is low blood pressure. Most people with CFS suffer from low blood pressure. Low blood pressure means that the pressure of blood circulating around your body is lower than normal.
This can cause your brain to be starved of oxygen and nutrients. Low blood pressure causes dizziness, blurred vision, fainting and lightheadedness upon standing. Which are all classic CFS symptoms.
But it must be remembered that low blood pressure is a reaction to CFS, it is not the cause. Again the root cause of CFS is an excess air element in your nervous system and digestion.
Number 3. Cause of brain fog…Lack of blood to brain
Now the third cause of brain fog is a lack of blood flow to your brain. Again this is another reaction from the excess air element which blocks circulation of blood to your brain.
“How to reduce CFS brain fog…”
Now there are many methods you can use to help reduce brain fog.
Some of these methods act as a remedy to reduce the pain by increasing endorphins in your body and others act by increasing circulation to your head.
But the most important way to reduce brain fog is to remove the root cause of CFS which is by reducing the excess air element.
8000 year old brain fog remedy…
Yoga is choice remedy for brain fog and CFS. In yoga you are putting energy into your body and reducing the lactic acid build up. Whereas with other exercise you are taking energy out of the body and increasing the lactic acid build up.
But even with Yoga CFS patients must be careful and only do a certain types of poses.
As many as 60 to 70 percent of CFS patients have neurologically mediated postural hypotension which means their blood pressure drops when they are standing. Yoga uses certain stretches called inversions which are a highly effective non-drug treatment for this condition.
Yoga helps reduce postural hypotension by improving and promoting blood to the brain stem. Yoga postures help improve memory loss, brain fog and body pain.
The best pose to use to reduce brain fog in CFS is called downward facing dog.
Downward facing dog Pose

Starting position: On your hands and knees
Concentration: On the stretching movement
Breath: Normal breathing
Repetitions: Once
Practice: Exhaling tuck the toes under, straighten the arms and legs and raise the buttocks high. Bring the heels to the floor, so the whole of the foot contacts the floor (or as much as possible, don’t strain). Upper body and arms form a line and the head hangs relaxed between the arms. Keep your back straight. Body weight is distributed between the hands and the soles of the feet. Gaze is directed towards the navel.
Hold in this position for 30 seconds to 1 minute while breathing freely through your nose.
Exhale as you bend the knees to the floor and return to the start position.
Do this pose once or several times each day. Listen to your body.
Benefits: Helps reduce brain fog. Increases blood circulation to your brain. Helps reduce dizziness and light headedness.
Secret Remedy from the Himalayan Mountains…
One of the best remedies to counter low blood pressure and balance the excess air element is the following drink…
Ingredients:
- Pinch of Organic Raw Sugar
- A few drops of fresh Lemon Juice (organic if possible)
- Pinch of Himalayan Rock salt
- 1 cup of warm water (best to use Spring water)
*Those with excess weight or Candida can skip the raw sugar
Mix a pinch of raw sugar with a pinch of rock salt into a cup of warm water. Add a few drops of fresh lemon juice, mix well and drink. Drink 1-3 cups daily.
The sweet, sour and salty tastes used in this remedy help reduce the excess air element.
The Himalayan rock salt used in this remedy is a powerful and important medicine used in Ayurvedic medicine.
Himalayan rock salt is from the ranges of the Himalayas and is vastly different from common table or sea salt.
Common salt is toxic and loaded with chemicals, preservatives and is highly processed. It is void of the vital trace minerals. Common salt particles are too big to be taken in by your cells.
And sea salt is no longer healthy either because our oceans are dumping grounds for poisons such as mercury.
Whereas Himalayan rock salt contains 84 trace minerals. These trace minerals are available in colloidal form meaning they are so small your cells can readily absorb them. Himalayan rock salt is derived from pure, unpolluted sources and is 100% natural.
Also the ancient Ayurvedic medical scriptures state that Himalayan rock salt is the only salt that balances the all the 5 elements in the body.
The lemon juice used in this remedy is a power house of nutrition containing calcium potassium, magnesium and vitamin C. Also lemon juice helps to increase your digestive strength which is often lacking in CFS patients.
Raw sugar used in this remedy contains minerals and adds taste and nourishment to your body. It also helps reduce the excess air element.
The warm water helps increase your blood volume which stops low blood pressure.
Brain fog remedy from china…
When I was very sick with CFS years ago I tried acupuncture to help me. I went to one of the best acupuncturists in my area. I got treatments once a week for several months.
But the problem was it gave me very little benefit. In fact often the effort just to travel there exhausted me.
But I knew intuitively that acupuncture was a very effective treatment but I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t helping my CFS symptoms.
But I found my answer years later…
When I was studying natural medicine we had a guest lecture teach us for a few lessons. She was an amazing acupuncturist who was living in China for the last several years. She showed us amazing case studies of patients healing chronic diseases and a video of people getting surgery done using only acupuncture needles without any anesthetic.
I was fascinated by the success she had with patients. I was determined to know exactly how she got such a high success rate.
Here is what she told me her secret was…
“The reason why acupuncture is mostly ineffective in the west in not because acupuncture doesn’t work but because it’s not being used correctly”. She went on to tell me that “In china acupuncture is done once or twice a day. It is never done once a week like we do in the west”.
That was her secret. It wasn’t the tools that were lacking it was the degree of implementation of those tools.
She said “The problem with giving acupuncture only once a week is that you lose the momentum and healing effect. For acupuncture to be effective on patients it must be done once daily and even twice a day”.
I have also found through trial and error in practice that putting acupuncture needles into certain head and back points on CFS patients to be highly effective in reducing brain fog and body pain. But to be effective it must be done at least once a day.
If you want to get acupuncture done this way please contact me.
Brain Fog Powerhouse remedy of sleep and rest
Sleep and rest are vitally important in healing CFS. I cannot stress that enough. Very often the only remedy for intense brain fog is rest and sleep.
If you think about it there is a very important reason why your body gets brain fog.
You see brain fog and pain is your body’s feedback mechanism. Your body is trying to tell you to please rest so it can self heal the damage done to it.
Now if you ignore your body it will give you more pain until you listen and rest. You see your bodies self healing intelligence doesn’t really care if you’re a busy person and cannot slow down. It only cares about surviving and making your body healthy.
So brain fog is really just your body saying please rest and sleep so I can fix the damage.
I suggest you listen to your body. Rest and sleep as much as possible. Never ever push through pain or brain fog. At the very first signs of aggravation listen to what your body is telling you and rest and sleep.
